OpenAPI actions
Connect ChatGPT
ChatGPT → GPTs → Create → Configure → Actions
Steps
- 1In Mynahcast, open Agents & API and create a key. Pick the Agent preset so its posts wait for your approval. The key is shown once; copy it.
- 2In ChatGPT, create a GPT and open Configure → Create new action.
- 3Choose Import from URL and paste https://api.mynahcast.xyz/v1/openapi.json.
- 4Under Authentication pick API Key, Auth Type Bearer, and paste your Mynahcast key.
- 5Save. Ask the GPT to draft a post; it lands in your approval queue.
ChatGPT's own MCP apps only accept OAuth or no authentication, and Mynahcast's MCP server uses a bearer key, so GPT actions (OpenAPI) are the way in for now.

-H "Authorization: Bearer $MYNAHCAST_KEY"Frequently asked questions
- Can ChatGPT post to social media?
- Yes, with Mynahcast. ChatGPT connects through a custom GPT action imported from https://api.mynahcast.xyz/v1/openapi.json, authenticated with a Mynahcast API key as a bearer token. It can then draft and schedule posts to your connected channels (Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram, Discord, Nostr, Lemmy and more), and each post waits for your approval.
- Can ChatGPT publish without my approval?
- Not with an Agent key. Agent keys can draft, validate and schedule, but the server refuses approval decisions from agents, so a person approves every post in Mynahcast.
- Is it free to connect ChatGPT to Mynahcast?
- The MCP server and API are included on every Mynahcast plan, from $12 per month with a 7-day free trial. You need your own access to the agent itself.
