Mynahcast FAQ
- What is Mynahcast?
- Mynahcast is an agent-first social media scheduler. It lets the AI agent you already use (ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, Grok and others) draft and schedule posts in your brand's voice through an MCP server and a REST API. Every post waits for human approval, goes out once per channel, and is read back from the platform to confirm it is live.
- How much does Mynahcast cost?
- Four plans: Creator $12, Pro $24, Team $39 and Agency $79 per month, or two months free on yearly billing. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial; a card is required, and you can cancel any time before you're charged. There is no free plan. Full limits: https://mynahcast.xyz/pricing
- Which AI agents work with Mynahcast?
- Any agent that speaks MCP or can call a REST API. There are step-by-step guides for ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini, OpenClaw, Hermes Agent, Grok, DeepSeek, Kimi, Manus and Perplexity. MCP clients connect to https://api.mynahcast.xyz/mcp with a bearer API key; ChatGPT connects through a custom GPT action imported from https://api.mynahcast.xyz/v1/openapi.json.
- Which social networks can Mynahcast post to?
- 13 channels are live today: Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram, Discord, Nostr, Lemmy, Misskey, Slack, Matrix, DEV, Hashnode, WordPress and Listmonk. LinkedIn, Tumblr, X, Threads, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit and others are listed as coming soon and cannot be connected yet.
- Can my AI agent publish without my approval?
- No. Keys made with the Agent preset can draft, validate and schedule posts, but the server refuses approval decisions from agents. A person signed in to Mynahcast approves each post (or sends it back), and an edit after approval voids the approval.
- Does Mynahcast have an MCP server?
- Yes. The MCP server is at https://api.mynahcast.xyz/mcp. It is stateless JSON-RPC over streamable HTTP, authenticated with an API key sent as Authorization: Bearer. Tools are named mynahcast_* (validate, create and schedule posts, list channels, read the brand voice and more) and every tool that changes something accepts dry_run.
- Does Mynahcast have a public API?
- Yes. A REST API under https://api.mynahcast.xyz/v1 is described by an OpenAPI document at https://api.mynahcast.xyz/v1/openapi.json. Writes accept an Idempotency-Key header, so a retry never creates a second post, and each post exposes its per-channel delivery state and timeline.
- How is Mynahcast different from Buffer, Hootsuite or Postiz?
- Mynahcast is built for agents first: agent keys cannot approve their own posts, every post is published once and read back from the platform to prove it is live, and each brand has a versioned voice profile agents read before drafting. It has fewer channels than the big schedulers today (no Instagram, TikTok or X yet).
- Is Mynahcast open source or self-hosted?
- No. Mynahcast is a hosted service; there is no self-hosted edition today.
- How do I contact Mynahcast?
- Email support@mynahcast.xyz.
